Listen , I've studied international development and seen kony 2012 and any person actually educated in this field knows using propaganda is FALSE advertising. Where does the money the invisible children make even go? Do you even know? They are not registered under CIDA , the UN or any other credited organization within north america which means the money they are fundraising isn't even credited. (hence the fact they are being investigated for fraud). Besides what exactly do you know about making a difference? You watch a YouTube video buy a bracelet and post posters around your city and call that a difference? have you ever even been overseas? IC are making you believe a problem that arose in 2000-2005 is still a problem. Kony hasn't struck for almost 7 yrs. do your research before you open your mouth thanks! @thomaslarison @judesowl.

@ruksmire umm my youth pastor just got back from Uganda and the people there still live in fear because of Kony's reign of terror. Some of the orphans he worked with were once child soldiers and the problem has persisted way past 2005. Just Sayin...

@ruksmire I actually worked (for free) for @invisiblechildren for over a year so I know exactly where the money goes and what their programs accomplish. I have many Ugandan friends who have benefited from @invisiblechildren programs and according to many sources (such as the UN, Human Rights Watch, and my friends that work in the region) there are still attacks by the LRA on a daily basis. (Oh also I have lived overseas for over 6 years and worked with Kurdish refugees in Turkey.) (On another note propaganda does not necessarily mean its false so try looking that up.)

My question to you @ruksmire is what have you done to make a difference? This is a most sincere question. I want you to know that my vernacular is not one of anger but of interest and concern! I have come to find on several occasions, the people who tend to degrade and devalue the attempts from organizations like @invisiblechildren.... Have done very little themselves "to be the change they wish to see." Have you traveled to Uganda and seen for yourself if IC is actually making a difference? Many times we allow our own preconceived notions to determine what we believe to be true!! I myself, have not been to Uganda to see the difference being made, but what I have seen with my own eyes and heard with my ears is the difference IC has made directly froAfrican natives!

From an African native!! So my wish for you... Is if you do not like or agree with what IC is doing- then start your own organization and be the difference maker that you boldly wish to be!!!
